The Collaborative Research Project

The project is being undertaken as a collaborative study organised by Bath University in the UK and the Hungarian Technical University - Institue for Urban Studies in Budapest. The project is to be headed by Gabor Sooki Toth and Ben Jefferson.

International Cooperation

The following are involved with the project;

• Dr. Alan Day - Head of the Department of Architecture and Building Science, Bath University, UK.
• Igor Kosco - Deputy head of Department of Computer Aided Architectural Design, FASTU, Bratislava, Slovakia.
• Gabor Sooki-Toth - Assistant Lecturer, Institue for Urban Studies, Budapest Technical University.
• Ben Jefferson - Student of General Architectural Studies , Bath University, UK.

The initial pilot phase of the project will take place in Budapest, Hungary, this will then be continued concurrently in Bath and Budapest. Results will be drawn up in each country allowing for greater culture-specific context sensitivity to be built in to the final results. Throughout the entire project all parties will be in regular contact via email and real-time conferencing and all results will be presented on the World Wide Web as and when they become available. This will allow constant feedback on, and supervision of, work in progress even when the initial phase of the project will be taking place outside the UK.
