This house was the birth-place of A.F. Oesera. He was an art teacher who taught, amongst others, J.W. Goethe and the headmaster of the Painting Acadamey of Lipsko. At the end of the 18th century this building housed the "Sien stratenych krokov" (Hall of lost steps).
