Renaisannce building

Architecture

Originally a renaissance house with a large hall on the ground floor of the wing adjacent to the street. It was a typical Bratislavan craftsman's house. At the end of the 18th century the house was bought by the Tobacco trader Habermayer. In 1799 he rebuilt the house in the Classical style, changing the character of the house and replacing the large hall with a passageway.
