This memorial tablet commemorates Dr. Vladimir Clementis who lived and worked in this building. Dr. Clementis was a politician, statesman and publicist who worked to advance culture. In 1926 after the invasion of Bratislava, Dr. Clementis opened a solicitor's office in this building. In 1952 a trial was staged at which he was found guilty and later executed.
