The building dates from the second half of the 18th century.
Bibiana offers facilities for children and young people. Apart from an extensive library, play room, exhibition areas it also houses a permanent exhibition of the winning pictures from the Biennial Childrens Book Illustration Awards. The exhibitions here are often exciting and challenging for both young and old.
