Architecture

This building was erected on older foundations which date from the 14th to the 18th Century. The oldest remaining part of the building is the North Wing which dates from the 14th Century. The present classical faccade is from the last rebuilding at the end of the 18th Century.

General Information

Jozef Ignác Bajza, a member of the Bratislavan capitol and author of the first Slovak novel, lived here for the last 10 years of his life. He is buried in the crypt of the Cathedral of St Martin.
