On this short street in the heart of the old town the originally Gothic and Renaissance buildings have been hidden behind later 18th and 19th century faccades. In the middle ages this street was home to saddle makers and makers of horse-drawn machinery. This tradition has been remembered up to the present day in the name of the street.
